We organise two types of events . The annual Fun/Run, which is our main fundraiser and also Talks and Presentations on topics relating to cancer. These are open to everyone and people are encouraged to attend.
13th Annual Fun Run & Walk – 24th of March 2024
The primary source of funding for Monaleen Cancer Support Group is the annual Fun/Run Event. It is a parish event covering 5km or 10 km catering for both serious runners, amateur runners and those who simply want to walk to support Monaleen Cancer Support Group. Water stations are provided along the course.
The course plan for both distances can be found below in the gallery. Both the 5k and 10k routes start and end at Monaleen GAA clubhouse. The event is well marshalled to ensure safety and is confined to areas where footpaths are generally available and less trafficked.
Refreshments, pastries and sandwiches are provided at the end of the event as well as some entertainment for children. It is a great day out for all ages and abilities.

Walkers start at 2.15pm
